Dwight Howard has expressed his feelings towards the Magic Organization and also in being traded, but now the Magic have taken him off the block. This can mean one of two things. Either the Magic are in play for an all star, or even a grade B, player in order to compliment Howard or they will have the BEST Center in the league pushing harder for a trade and disgruntled at management. Pulling him off the block doesn’t necessarily mean that he won’t be traded, just for the time being the Magic won’t be entertaining offers. DHoward expressed interest in several possible destinations; staying with Orlando, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Dallas Mavericks, and the New Jersey Nets. According to ESPN sources, the Magic did receive offers for the big man, by the Lakers and Nets, but they were not feeling the quality of the offers. One offer was a multi-team deal with Portland and NJ that would have sent C Brook Lopez and one of THE BEST rebounding 3’s in the game in Gerald Wallace to the Magic along with some draft picks while Howard ends up in New Jersey paired up with All Star guard Deron Williams! Needless to say, that the Magic don’t have much time to make an NBA GAME CHANGER deal in order to keep Dwight happy and sign him to a Multi-year extension. I think the last thing the Magic want to have happen to them is Dwight playing at an All-star level, again, this year and have him walk as a free agent at the end of the season for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return!
